About Skills

Hello.

I’m Martin Watts, a graphic designer and keen photographer based near Plymouth. Graduating from Plymouth College of Art in 2011 I gained a 1st class BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. I am passionate about innovative design and problem solving, I enjoy nothing more than the challenge of communicating ideas through a variety of creative media. Excited by brand creation, taking great satisfaction in representing businesses and people through a visual identity. I thoroughly enjoy producing artwork for print and the endless opportunities to create a multitude of exciting physical items. I love to get hands on with the design process, and when possible the production process too.

When not creating exciting pieces of graphic communication, I enjoy capturing our surroundings and social scenes through photography and video. I am particularly enthusiastic about analogue imaging techniques and the character that can be achieved through the use of different films and their manipulation. Experimenting with different media and processes to alter the appearance of the everyday and to capture the unusual.
